Soccer X – Independent Football Academy

Soccer X gives young football players the chance to enhance their ability in the field and give themselves every chance of maximising their potential.

Our coaching programme is designed to help all players improve over time with a view of them performing better for their Club, School team and District squads.

We feel that at a young age it is important that the players are given the platform to practise as they play in a healthy but competitive environment.

Our coaching programme has been designed to take a holistic approach to player Development centred around the 4 corners of Development including:

· Technical practise transferring into Skills practise
· Social Development Where players understand the importance of communication and working within team units
· Physiological Traits including Awareness and Making good decisions
· Physical Attributes including correct running techniques and Speed agility and Quickness work.

These provide the core of the programme and it is what you or your child can expect to undertake when entering the programme. We have coaches that are highly experienced and have worked in Football professionally and within English Academies at different Pro clubs.

Some coaches in the programme have worked in different countries and have looked at programmes across Europe and the Americas to enhance their coaching knowledge.
You or your child can expect regular progress updates which can help develop particular aspects of the game.

Arranged fixtures are against academies and pre- academy groups as well as Centres of Excellence groups in and around the south East. This will give you or your child the necessary exposure to clubs where they may be asked to attend further training with these clubs or trial games. Over the years we have built up a wealth of contacts in the game and we can tap into these contacts for your benefit.

At the older age groups we provided a fulltime programme for players leaving school to gain coaching qualifications and receive training on a daily basis alongside Education. We are running a scholarship programme around the Chigwell Area of Essex providing a programme for players currently in School year 11.

Again you will attend on a daily basis to be educated and undertake a BTEC Sport Qualification the FA Level 1 in Football Coaching and play under the Barkingside Football Club banner currently playing in the Ryman Football League.

This will give you the chance of playing in the FA Youth Cup and representing the club at U/18, reserve team or First team level if you are good enough.
