TRIC – Client Case Study


Background
The Television and Radio Industries Club or TRIC was established in 1931.
Membership embraces the communications, entertainment, manufacturing, and service sectors, from programme makers and broadcasters to radio producers.

TRIC’s continued success and growing reputation for unrivalled corporate entertaining and networking provides a tremendous springboard for the future. More and more of their focus is on cultivating a thriving and entertaining environment where like-minded professionals can network, rub shoulders with the stars at the TRIC Awards and relax.
TRIC has a new president ever year, who acts as patron, presents the TRIC Awards, and chooses the charities that the Club supports during their term of office. The current President is Sian Williams the BBC’s Breakfast presenter.

Past Presidents include Brian Blessed, Dermot Murnaghan, Ainsley Harriott, Gloria Hunniford, Angela Rippon OBE……

The Project
Karen and George from TRIC approached us with a clear aim: to update their existing tired web presence and graphic identity, while staying loyal to TRIC’s long history and membership base.
They wanted to include some Flash animation and video, combined with clear easy to use navigation and a simple updatable and scalable design that could be built on over time. They did not want drop down menus, as would be natural with a website of this size, but preferred a simple older style menu structure that users of all ages would find accessible.

The Results

With our help Karen now runs the website herself, updating images and text and adding pages regularly after annual events, such as the Christmas Ball and the TRIC Awards.
